A few weekends ago, back when we still had 90 degree weather, we attended a BBQ charity event at our friend’s home in the suburbs. Downtown Chicago surely does not have neighborhoods with ponds scatter throughout, so we had to pull over and take advantage of this backdrop on our way home.
This dress was one of my favorite summer purchases! It is incredibly comfortable and can be dressed up with heels for dinner or dressed down with flats for daytime. As usual, its the little details that get me, here, the buttons down the back. Being on the shorter side, I was ecstatic to find a maxi dress that didn’t need to be hemmed and was wearable with flats. I can wait to style it with a different belt and maybe even a navy blazer next spring! First, we have to make it through another Chicago winter! Is it bad that I’m looking forward to spring already and we’re only days into fall?
